Mezzanotte

Mezzanotte is one of Acapulco's renowned fine dining restaurants, just off the scenic highway that leads out of the bay over to Puerto Marques. The atmosphere is a carefully arranged "urban sofistiquée," combining modern haut cuisine, elegant surroundings, and a full, breathtaking view back across Acapulco Bay to the older parts of town. The restaurant is modern and sumptuously appointed, attracting a very hip crowd. Dressing up a bit is recommended. The food is as urbane as the ambiance. For example, the menu may offer smoked salmon presented over fettuccine with an avocado sauce, and robalo (sea bass) prepared on the open fire with a citrus finish, accompanied by shrimp and artichokes. Mezzanotte cultivates a festive, celebratory atmosphere. On weekends the management projects music videos, and several couples may give in to the urge to dance after dinner.
