Italian Cuisine

"Italian" covers a wide spectrum, from the light and elegant veal dishes of Florence, to the rich seafood delicacies of Venice, to the spicy and flavorful meals of Naples and points further south. And, of course, "pasta asciutta" and baked pasta casseroles abound. In Acapulco, an Italian fine dining establishment almost always means “Northern Italian” cuisine – carefully prepared beef, veal and poultry dishes with rich sauces, accompanied by risotto or pasta and a colorful salad. You can also expect delicious vegetarian entrées as well, with cheese and tomato sauces, accented by fine herbs and accompanied, of course, by a well-chosen wine. On the more economical end of the spectrum, you will find the "trattoria," where pizza and pasta dishes hold sway. These casual restaurants also feature baked pasta dishes of all kinds. Acapulco offers you several options in both categories.
