El Merendero

This small, pleasant "Mexican Diner" serves light meals for lunch and dinner during the week and Sunday breakfast and lunch. It lives up to its motto of "Exaggeratedly Delicious." Each day a different special is offered for $50 pesos or less. Sandwiches, tamales, tacos and salads are also on the menu. Beer is 2 for 1 on Thursdays. The owner is both chef and manager. He keeps his place spotless. And his wait staff are very welcoming.
