El Fuerte del Virrey

Outside, El Fuerte del Virrey looks like an early 19th century fort, and it is modeled on one that stood in Acapulco during the time of the struggle for independence. Inside, the owner has provided a small exhibition of creations by some of Mexico's better-known artists. The Fuerte del Virrey has established a reputation as one of Acapulco's best international cuisine restaurants for fine dining. The décor and ambience are elegant.
