Acapulco Weather
Acapulco weather, what can one say? Sun, hot days, warm nights with a some great ocean breezes. Essentially, in Acapulco, you have a choice between warm and hot, humid and humid. Or as a friend of mine described the seasons, there are only two: hot and rain. Personally, I think the weather is great seeing as how I’m writing this in the most sublime of months, January, with the hot, humid days of summer and the rainy falls far off and with my friends and family up north suffering another dark, cold winter.
I’ll leave it up to you to decipher the charts below (whose data were collected over a period of 18 years) because they really speak for themselves. The warm months correspond well with the bad weather in the US and Canada and the hot, humid and rainy summer and fall here with the good weather there. I take the summers here like a man and don't go hiking up to the US. After all, if I get to enjoy the winter here, shouldn't I have to suffer the summer humidity like a true Acapulqueño? Really, for those of you who don’t mind a little heat and a bit more humidity, summer is the time to come for bargains and the sort of tranquility that the high season just can’t offer.
Acapulco, Mexico is 16 feet Latitude: 16 45N Longitude: 099 45W and starts off right at sea level and elevates really fast.
