Barbarroja

Barbarroja (a play on words invoking the myth of Red Beard the Pirate) is a popular Acapulco bar located in the Condesa that really attracts a lot of tourists. It is recognizable for two main reasons. It gets started very early in the evening and from the outside looks like a big, faux-pirate ship that "shanghais" passersby with the lure of cheap drinks and perhaps if they're really lucky a bit of, er, the pirate ship's booty. A good place to kick back a few and watch the crowds passing by. Barbarroja plays a variety of pop music. No cover, prices reasonable.
