The Hotel Maralisa, often called the Maralisa Hotel and Beach Club, is found right on the beach just east of Parque Papagayo, almost in a mid-bay position. The hotel offers 42 standard rooms, 42 deluxe rooms, and 5 suites all on a four-floor property. It was built in 1982.

The hotel offers a business center, medical assistance on 24-hour call, laundry and dry cleaning services, free parking, a 24-hour convenience store, and room service. At the concierge desk a guest can arrange for in-room child-care, a crib or a rollaway bed. Travel assistance and car rentals are also available.
Guests can chose between a king-size bed or two double beds. All have balconies. Some have views of the pool or partial views of Acapulco Bay. Amenities include air conditioning, an in-room safe, refrigerator (by request when checking in), newspaper, direct dial telephone, and cable television.
The Omega Restaurant & Bar is located by the pool, and has a full view of the sea below. It serves breakfast from 7a-11a and lunch from 11 am-4 pm. The Omega serves a complete menu of Mexican dishes and international cuisine.
Right on the beach, the hotel’s Beach Club is a perfect base for engaging in all water sports like jet ski, diving, para-gliding, wind surfing and fishing. This location is also convenient to Acapulco’s best-known commercial centers, movie theaters, restaurants and dance clubs.
Guests can enjoy the fitness center on the hotel premises. Massage services are also available on site, and the hotel has a hot tub.
A challenging nine-hole municipal course is nearby, and several championship courses are within 40 minutes’ drive from the hotel. The concierge can advise on tee times and equipment rentals.
There is a tennis court on the hotel property for the use of guests, with a clay surface.
The Maralisa’s meeting room is available for business gathering or for social occasions. Brides can organize wedding parties and receptions at the Maralisa, relying on their special events planning assistance and catering. Several wedding packages are offered.
The Maralisa offers two resort-style swimming pools for sunbathing, reading, relaxing, chatting with friends, or cooling off. A children's pool is also provided.
