The Mayan Palace, a luxury hotel, and the Grand Mayan, a condominium development sold under the timeshare system, form together a large resort complex east and south of Acapulco on Mexico’s Pacific coast. In all, more than 1,000 rooms are available, including 360 rooms on six floors in the hotel itself. The hotel is “all-inclusive,” located on more than a half mile of natural beach front in the zone called "Playa Diamante." This resort is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the airport and less than 30 minutes’ drive to the traditional part of Acapulco, inside the bay.

The Grupo Mayan, which operates the Mayan Palace and several other resort properties throughout Mexico, is part of the Wyndham Hotel system.

The grounds of the Mayan Palace are over 200 acres of lakes and gardens, including a replica of a Mayan temple. Many guests are content to relax by enjoying the beauty and the fragrance of the tropical landscaping, or by taking the many pathways that lead to small waterfalls and pools.
