Cafes

Acapulco’s visitors and its locals love to gather at a "café" for coffee, conversation and perhaps even something to eat. Cafés can be divided into two separate types: There are the ones that specialize in serving coffee, and those that are more complete restaurants. The first group would include Italian Coffee Company and Starbucks. Often it is possible, indeed desirable to sit at one of these cafés in the open air and enjoy the weather. The second group includes places with much larger menus, even buffets, and might be known in the US as “cafeterias.” In Acapulco several can be found, often in multiple locations, like Vips, Toks, El Portón, the W Café, and California.
