I have to say that I was a bit scepticle at first about anything that chose to call itself ¨Yuppies¨. After having been there now some 7 times with various *ahem* amigas I can say this place is one cool place to hang out. A bar first and a restuant second, it has a good layout, video, good music, its always full yet its never hard to get a table.
I epecially like that they turn the music off when something truly interesting comes on TV like Chico Migraña (Migraine Boy) - my favorite character on MTV Mexico.
I usually drink tequila shots, wiskey sours, and lots of micheladas. Drink prices are reasonable and there´s no cover. Though I always seem to end up paying for everyone (Acapulquñas don't ever offer to pay, though las Chilangas usually do) and I've not had a bill over say $150 USD and everyone stumbles out shit-faced. The waitress slipped me a free bottle of tequila on the way out a couple times. (Just what I needed).
My only complaint is the smoke machine. I can barely tolerate this at a place like Palladium, but in a sports bar? I think they need to re-think that one.
Anyway, to the club named after America's most annoying socio-economic group, a big thumbs up from Real Acapulco!
