Aeropuerto Juan N. ÁlvarezAcapulco's international airport is officially called Aeropuerto Juan N. Álvarez (or by it's three letter abbreviation ACA) and is located on the southside of town on Boulevard de las Naciones s/n Col. Plan de los Amates C.P. 39931. The airport features ATMs where you can immediately get Mexican pesos if you'd like (though U.S. dollars are universally accepted if you're American). Most of Acapulco's car rental agencies also have a presence there.
It's about a 30 minute drive into the heart of the city. Airport transportation to your hotel typically runs about $10 per person.
