I just want to let everyone know to save your money. Myslef as well as six other people went to stay at the Park Royal and it was the worst vacation ever. The service was horrible, the staff was rude and there was nothing to do at the hotel. If you want to exchange your American Currency to Pesos' they never have any to exchange. They allow other guest to have sex, pee and vomit in the pool. The bartenders let the guest get so drunk they start to pass out. You can get a drink after 1 a.m. not even a glass of water because no one is around. The food is horrible, it is the same thing everyday. I went the manager to say something and he didn't care, all they care about is getting the money and then they are done with you. |
by the Mexican governement, but Real Acapulco rates it at the upper end of our four stars (or if you want we could put it at the bottom of our five stars). It has a nice tropical feel and good facilites though there have been a few grievences with the service since the management changover. Any way you cut it, this hotel doesn't quite compare to its big brothers the Camino Real, Pierre Marques, Princess, Mayan Palace, etc. in terms of luxury. Then again, it's not as expensive either and there is not doubt it is a good hotel if you're an independent self-motivating travler.
