The Sunscape, built in 1976, is a small but comfortable hotel. It has 22 rooms on 5 floors and features a swimming pool, rooms with air conditioning, shady palm trees and a tropical feel. It's located conveniently in close proximity to a Commercial Mexicana grocery store. Though its not too far, this hotel is not on the beach.

The really nice thing about this hotel is its 5 suites each with its own private swimming pool (sort of like Las Brisas, but not nearly as upscale... or pricey).
The amenities include: Cable TV with DVD Players, terraces, mini bars, coffee makers, maid service, and telephones.

Great Hotel, 2006-01-04

I have stayed at the Sunscape many times during Spring Break. This is a smaller hotel that is reasonably priced, comfortable and clean. It is also very close to one of the best beaches, Condesa Beach (easy walk), restaurants, shopping and hot clubs like Baby 'O. Best part is that there are no restrictions on inviting new "friends" back to the hotel to continue the party. The restaurant and bar serve up some pretty good grub as well – and open all night to satisfy my “other cravings.” Another cool feature is the hotel employs people with the hook-ups for clubs and restaurants; and they also serve to help avoid places that can get you into trouble. This is a must for Spring Break when I need to maximize my $$ and my time.
