The Acapulco
Malibu is a 6 floor, 80 suite hotel that was built back in 1968. It's well
maintained though has begun to show a bit of wear and tear. This hotel stands
out because it is unlike most other skyscraper hotels in the Icacos, Golden Zone
area. The hotel is located on the busy costera right across from the Acapulco
Golf Club. The good-sized pool faces the beach.
Hotel Amenities include
babysitters, gift shop, laundry facilities, concierge, hair stylist, computers,
ATM, parking, spa & health club, water skiing, and it's wheelchair
accessible. All rooms have microwave, refrigerator, cable/satellite TV,
refrigerator, broadband internet access, mini bar, and all rooms have balconies
(though most don't have an ocean view).
All in all a
solid offering.
