The Calinda Beach Hotel is one of Acapulco's better hotels.
Though it receives 5 stars from within Mexico, the international consensus puts
this tubular beach hotel at 4 stars and I think that's probably fair. Built in
1970 with renovations in 1997, the Calinda Beach has good facilities and
amenities, though the rooms are a bit plain. It's 350 rooms (on 26 floors) offer
most the creature-comforts (like hair dryers, coffee makers, cable TV, balconies
with ocean views, air-conditioning and two double beds). The balconies offer
great views.
It's located only a few minutes from Acapulco's best
shopping, restaurants, and nightlife attractions. For sports lovers, a golf club
and tennis courts are located nearby.

that serves Mexican cuisine and has a nice view of the pool.
A Sanborn's
store is now located on the premises which is
convenient.
