Italian Coffee CompanyLocated across from Oceanic 2000. When I heard that "Coffee Italy" as it's called around town was about to open, I have to admit I was excited about a place like this opening in Acapulco. Unfortunately, I was less than excited about this particular place after having tried it a half dozen times. It's got a good atmosphere, but the coffee isn't the best. A better cup can be had across the street at Sharon's. The rest of the offerings fail to measure up even more. I had a ham and cheese croissant and I kid you not it arrived frozen in the middle. I guess it came strait out of the freezer.
The Italian Coffee Company could be much improved if they hired a better staff. The place is small and has numerous employees but I find it hard to flag someone down. I always felt like I was interupting something ponderously important when pointing out, say, that we had no napkins at the table. The employees all seem to be in their teens so what can one expect...
Not a thumbs down exactly as I'm sure I'll go back soon, but a disappointment.
