La Condesa
Acapulco's La Condesa disctrict is where the nightlife begins and the place to
go for hedomism shopping door to door. Like most ladies of the evening, La Condesa
is ugly and nondescript during the day but really comes alive when the sun goes
down. Some of Acapulco's most raucous clubs from Disco Beach and Baby Lobster
Bar are located here along with the famous bungy jump at Paradise. Hotels such
as Fiesta Americana, Tortuga, and Romano Palace are located right in the center
of the action. The Condesa also boasts Acapulco's main gay beach and has more
than its fair share of the world's oldest profession on display. This is not the
place to come if you're looking for a bit of traditional Mexico or some R&
R but if your plans are to get stumbling drunk and maybe meet someone in a bar
for an evening of fun afterwards, La Condesa is ground zero.
