Of all the guides to Acapulco that I've
had the pleasure to browse through, the Moon Handbook's Acapulco is the most
thorough and I've even learned a few new things. Bruce Whipperman has a real
sense of history and an eye for interesting details. Obviously guides can't be
exhaustive and this one isn't as it leaves a lot of information about clubs,
restaurants, and upscale hotels out, but for the backpacker, ecotourist, budget
traveler or history buff, this is the guide to get.
