Avalon Excalibur Acapulco
The Avalon
Excalibur Acapulco marks the spot where the Golden Zone meets Traditional
Acapulco. It's about 3 minutes from Playa Hornos and about 30 seconds from
Papagayo Park.
It was built in 1969 and features 339 rooms on 20 floors.
Amenities at the Avalon Excalibur includes two restaurants, an
outdoor pool, a lobby bar, a stretch of beach loads of palapas, a gift shop,
concierge, valet parking, parking garage, medical services, laundry and nightly
entertainment.
All of the rooms offer air-conditioning, bathroom kits
full of all those little bathroom necessities, and satellite TV.
I've
always wondered how they could get it to lean like that without falling
over.
