La Marina Acapulco
The Acapulco Marina with it's big white lighthouse is a sight to behold. In fact, I behold it all the time. The Marina is located in traditional Acapulco and has provided safe harbor to sailors from around the world for decades.  The Mairna can accommodate up to 150 boats and rates for the slips are about $.60 per foot per day. Services include 110/220 volt power, showers, restaurants, ice, water, and help with those troublesome customs documents. I'm looking at the Marina right now as I write and from here, the docks look about full and there are about 50 boats, from tiny sailboats to huge yachts anchored offshore in the calm waters. Acapulco's Yacht Club has been frequented by countless rich and famous and the area has been a safe heaven for seafarers since the days of Magellan.
If you're planning to take a boat tour or go deep sea fishing, I'm sure you'll become acquainted with the Marina and if not, it's still worth a visit.
