Best Acapulco RestaurantsWhen in comes to Acapulco, after the great hotels, beaches and nightlife, Acapulco really stands out for its great restaurants. And when it comes to restaurants, if you’re coming to Acapulco you’re going to have to indulge in some of the top Mexican Restaurants and Seafood Restaurants first and foremost.
For great Mexican restaurants, you’ll have to see El Zorrito, Fersato's, and El Cabrito. But Acapulco is as much known for its seafood as its Traditional Mexican cuisine. For seafood restaurants, located on the beach, El Amigo Miguel top the list. For seafood in a rowdy environment, it’s Paradise all the way. For a bit of Spanihs cuisine, the only place to be is Sirocco for a great paella.
Acapulco also features numerous restaurants that boast an elegant international cuisine and fine dinning. Coyuca 22, El Campanario, El Faro, and Kookaburra.
For Italian, I’d say Forza Italia for sure. Franco the owner is too much fun and will likely com over and sit down with you. Tell him Real Acapulco sent you! My favorite popular restaurant is 100% Natural, but if you want to best location, head out toward Playa Hornos and sit out on the pier.
For steak and such, El Gaucho and La Mansion are tops.
Acapulco also has some great Japanese restaurants I hear, but I must confess I’ve never been.
One thing to remember is that during low season, many of the top restaurants close and reopen during high season.
I’m still a bit light on our restaurant reviews I admit, but I’m working on it more this year for sure but feel free to review any of the restaurants yourselves and help both me and your fellow travelers.
Before I go, I have been to my favorite American restaurant review, Mc Donald’s of Acapulco.
