Salon Q
along with Nina's is one of Acapulco's primier salsa clubs and the closest thing
on the Pacific Ocean to Havana's famous Tropicana Nightclub. It features live
bands, top singers, and lots and lots of salsa dancing. Though Acapulco is
really more of a cumbia salsa town versus the wilder
Cuban verieties, but it does get lively at Salon Q
and they do know how to dance (though nobody can beat the Cubans at their own
game). Salon Q is fun, but it can be a bit pricey,
especially when ordering a whole bottle and staying awhile. I usually drop
around $100 evertime I go which is pretty hard to do in Acapulco, but ohhh the
good times. Don't let that scare you, you can come and have fun for far less if
you don't order expensive drinks.
