The Villa
Vera came onto the scene in the 1950s where before it had been private home with
an expanse of rented guest rooms. The Villa Vera has been one of Acapulco's
hottest tourist attractions over the years having been frequented by such
luminaries as Liz Taylor, President Nixon, and the beautiful starlet Lana
Turner...who stayed here for THREE years. This hotel is also famous for being
the place where Fun in Acapulco starring Elvis Presley was shot.
A lot
has happened since then and the hotel has been tastefully renovated and
amenities expanded. The hotel features 69 suites nestled into t he green hills
