Here is a list of the Post Offices in Acapulco. You can do pretty much what you do at any post office here but be forewarned that post offices in Mexico are known to beboth slow and unreliable. I'm still waiting for a package mailed back in December of 2003 (today is February 12, 2006).

The Mexican Post Office (Servicio Postal Mexicano) also has P.O. Boxes for rent for about $30 USD per year, but you normally have to demonstrate your residence first. Word of advice, a PO BOX is called an "apartado postal", not an "aparato postal." I made this mistake once to thunderous laughter.
