There is one thing that makes the Hotel Toruga worth a look given the stiff competition. It's location. If you've come to Acapulco to party and are on a budget, perhpas the Hotel Tortuga would be a perfect fit. It is located right across the the street from the main party places in the Condesa. You'll naver have to worry about forgetting where your hotel is after a drunked foam party a Disco Beac, that much is sure. It was built in 1974 and has 252 room on 7 floors. It's decor is bright and colorful.

they screw u with the price, 2007-05-15

I found this online as my fiancee has stayed there previously, so i percieced this to be a no-brainer. I booked our rooms online $60 a night on my credit-card. when we go and check-in they tell us that i have been mistaken and it is $120 a night, and they would not check online for our reservation. after arguing for a half hour they finally tell my fiancee that he can check in but had to use his credit card and would have to give up MY reservations, i said "why cuz i'm a girl?" and they looked at me stupidly and said "yes" if i was fluent in spanish as my fiancee is i would have told them this is the reason Americans are disrespectful when they go to tourist towns! never again
