This neat, bistro-size restaurant serves gourmet Italian cooking at very accessible prices. Chefs and owners Eduardo and Adriana arrived in Acapulco from Switzerland to offer locals and visitors pastas (tallarines) with a variety of sauces, pizzas cooked to perfection, and salads with homemade dressings. Each day the chefs offer a "risotto du jour" and special desserts not on the menu. Desserts on the menu include a tempting chocolate mousse, a cheese cake and ice creams. Ask for the home-made jamaica syrup. Accompany your meal with an excellent selection of wines, beer and soft drinks.

Wonderful Wonderful place

Although it certainly doesn't look like much from the outside, Tallarines is an exceptional dining experience. The food is prepared in a simple, elegant way that rivals any restaurant you can name. The pizzas are great, the pasta sublime.

And the risotto !!!! You'll know just how good Italian cuisine can be.

Pizza with Parma Ham is great!

The pizzas are wonderful -- thin crust, nicely spiced with basil and oregano, tasty cheese. The Parma ham topping is gourmet quality; some say it's a bit too salty, but that's how Parma ham is. The "small" pizza is the size of a Domino's "medium" and it sells for $60 pesos, about half the cost of Domino's, and three times better!
