Ika Tako is a bright and lively seafood and taco place, on the Costera close to the Emporio and Elcano hotels and next to Beto's lobster restaurant. The specialty is tacos made of fresh shrimp and fish, with lots of interesting variations, including ingredients like bacon, pineapple, cheese, spinach and garlic. Burritos and other options for vegetarians and meat eaters are also offered. Ika Taco provides its guests with a choice from among eight different salsas, ranging in spiciness. Though the food is inexpensive, the restaurant is fully appointed and well located for a relaxing meal with a view of the Costera and across towards the bay. The best way to enjoy Ika Taco is to settle in and have a few beers or some wine, and savor the tacos in the unhurried lifestyle that is Acapulco.
