BubbäBar

This quiet, upscale restaurant is in the Costa Azul area, on a side street near the International Convention Center. The name is a bit deceiving, in that it is much more than a bar, and it is much classier than the name "Bubba" would suggest. The entrance passes through a garden terrace set with tables and a large barbecue station. For those wanting air-conditioning, a glass-enclosed indoor dining area is available, too. Music videos play from several large screens, and guests can make requests for the type of music (or sporting event) they desire. The menu offers Mexican, oriental and international dishes. Seafood is one of the kitchen's strong points. Many visitors to Acapulco come back to BubbäBar again and again for the salmon Carpaccio. BubbäBar is managed by its owners, Gerardo and Judith, and they work hard with all the staff to provide welcoming, attentive and professional service. BubbäBar also is well-equipped to handle celebrations and parties - baptisms, birthdays and quinceañeras - for up to 140 guests.
