Zoom lays claim to being the best gay discotheque (or DJ Club) in Acapulco, attracting gays, bisexuals and some straight couples. The club offers three different venues: an area for pop music and dancing, a lounge area for conversation, and an area devoted to electronic music. The bar is open at 8 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The disco starts at 10 pm, Thursday through Sunday. On Thursdays, beer is 2 for 1 and there's no cover. Other days, the cover is usually $60 pesos, unless there's a special show, when it can be more (like $100 without drinks, $200 with open bar). Special events and parties are planned during holiday times and long weekends, featuring resident DJ Danskey or well-known guest DJ's.
