Hotel Calinda Beach is a member if of the Ostar Hotel Group. It is on the Costera Alemán in Acapulco’s Golden Zone, a few blocks from the Acapulco Convention Center and about 25 minutes from the airport. It is surrounded by Acapulco’s nightlife and many fine restaurants. Its easily-recognized circular tower stands out along the bay’s skyline.
The hotel offers 355 rooms, including 7 suites, on 23 floors. All are equipped with the amenities one would expect of a fine hotel. The restaurant, El Delfin, has a full menu and buffet service. The Sanborns restaurant and coffee shop is at one end of the lobby. Calinda Beach has a large resort-size swimming pool and a children’s play area. Guests are always treated to beautiful, panoramic views of the bay. Parking on-premises is provided, and the hotel supports meetings and special events, like weddings. The facilities also include an exercise facility and a discothèque.

Rooms are large and comfortable, each with a balcony or terrace with views towards the sea or the city of Acapulco. Each is equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, bathrooms with tubs, security safes, a minibar, coffee-maker and telephone with voice mail.

Two outdoor swimming pools including a children’s play area, an outdoor concierge desk, fitness equipment, room service, on-call medical assistance, dry-cleaning and laundry services, parking, valet parking, on-site shopping, business center and Internet connectivity.

The hotel offers a fully-equipped gymnasium, and on the third floor there is an outdoor running track that goes around the building.

Special events and meetings are a hotel specialty, with five meeting and reception rooms with commanding views of the beautiful bay, accompanied by first class catering services. Two of the rooms can accommodate up to 600 persons for a reception. The concierge staff can assist with other details, like decoration, photography, event hostesses and musical entertainment.
